After watching the World Cup from the sidelines for 12 long years, the whole of Belgium is thrilled to see their beloved Red Devils land in Brazil. Belgium isn’t playing during Couleur Café but there will be 4 games of the Round of 16, which they are happy to show on a big screen. Which teams you’ll get to check the 28th and 29th of June? Here’s what they predict… Saturday 6 PM, our brass bands might not be the best of friends for an hour and a half, when the Netherlands of Unicum Brassband take on the Brazilian Canaries of Los Magnificos y Coletivo Usanisom. Their fellow country man DJ Tudo might be cheering the night away later that night. At 10 PM we’ve got the undoubtedly epic game between the Ivorian Elephants and the English. Backstage, Dizzee Rascal and Tiken Jah Fakoly will know what to talk about before getting on stage on Friday. Sunday at 6 PM we’re pretty sure to spot some Spanish flags at Tour & Taxis, when la Roja play against the strong Mexicans. Or will the Italians led by Suarez’ lead singer Marc Pinilla make even more noise when they face the Columbians at 10PM? Whatever happens, they’re in for three sunny days on a Tour & Taxis site drenched in great music, packed with beautiful fans and seasoned with a World Cup Football providing just that extra bit of summer joy. Bem-Vindo a Couleur Café! Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of June, at 6PM and 10PM: Round of 16 on big screen (at the RTBF stand).
