Hot Milk to drop long lost Eek-A-Mouse debut on October 28, 2013

Just as 17 North Parade is preparing to release EEK-OLOGY, the Eek-A-Mouse reggae anthology, re-issue label Hot Milk will drop the long out-of-print debut album by the Mouse Bubble Up Yu Hip.  The album, produced by Linval Thompson and released on Thompson Sounds in 1980, was one of the first albums to feature a new and emerging vocal style called “sing-jay.”  The album features Eek-A-Mouse chanting in his wholly unique style over hard and heavy riddims by the Roots Radics.
