Fyahnahki

Davies Kaimurie aka Fyahnahki (Nyaki Massai) was born on the 25th of November, 1986 in The Netherlands but his roots lie in the ‘Horn of Africa’ in the Eastern provinceof Kenya where his mother was born in a small town called Kieni, Meru. Nyah grew up listening to various kinds of music which later inspired him to write his own music.

At the young age of 12 he found himself exploring his creative talents and it soon became clear that his voice was his tool for self-expression. At the age of 14 he started to write lyricsand soon after that he started to record his first songs. At the age of 16 he was rocking stage after stage performing as a group at many different clubs and festivals in Holland, Germanyand Switzerland. But his hunger for more led him to do more solo-projects that made him decide to start a solo-career later on when he reached the age of 18.

Nyah started to collaborate with many artists, producers and musicians to gain moremusical experience as he was trodding on his musical journey. At that time he also gained hisspiritual name Nyaki Massai. After doing many live shows and studio-recordings he releases a single and a video-clip called ‘Fyah Haffe Blaze’ in 2009 and the song gets a lot ofrecognition and local and international airplay on various radio-stations. With this song he really set a statement and made a big impact on the Dutch and Int. reggae-scene.

Through word, sound and melody he wants to bring across his message to the people which is equal rights and justice for all mankind. And right now he’s busy spreading his campaignto the world, working on many different projects. In the year 2010 he performed on manyshows, occasions and big festivals in Europe (Holland, Poland, Belgium and Germany) promoting his latest single. As a result Fyahnahki has shared the stage with artists like Gregory Isaacs, Fantan Mojah, Natural Black, Anthony B, Perfect, Bushman, Ras Zacharri, Malijah and many more.
