Lauryn Hill and Tessanne join The Marley Brothers for the 21st annual 9 Mile Festival

9 Mile Music Festival welcomes Ms. Lauryn Hill on her third festival appearance this year, along with Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, and Julian “Juju” Marley.  This year’s festival also features Sean Paul, Tito El Bambino, Mavado, Chronixx, Ken Y and many other surprise performances and appearances. Even Tessanne Chin, Winner of The Voice USA will be performing at the Fairgrounds.

Scheduled for Saturday, February 15th at the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds, (10901 SW 24th Street in Miami), the festival gates will open at 12:30PM, with two stages featuring reggaeton, reggae, and dancehall artists.

The 9 Mile Music Festival has always carried a humanitarian message within its musical one and to date has collected and donated almost three million cans of food to hunger projects internationally. This year, canned food collected at admission during the festival will benefit Curley’s House. Curley’s House is a food bank that provides bulk food products to thousands of needy families and the homeless throughout Miami-Dade County. They offer job training skills and access help as well as others services.
