Due to previous success and memorable performances such as Sizzla, Mavado and Vybz Cartel, many talented and emerging artists will be flown in to Amsterdam from the very heart of Jamaica. On Ascension Day we will entertain you with international reggae stars such as Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, I-Octane, Queen Ifrica, Wayne Wonder, Anthony B, Busy Signal, Richie Spice, and J-Boog. In addition, national stars such as Young Cashino and Fullanny will make their entrance at the Amsterdam Reggae Festival.
This sixth edition, initially scheduled for the 26th of February earlier this year, will take place on Thursday May 17th 2012. This sensational line-up will provide you with various Reggae and Danchehall influences. Holland’s finest DJ’s, MBA and Jah, will be on the turntables to entertain the crowd with the most spectacular tunes ever. Your host for this day will be none other than Kalibwoy, who is able to bring a great atmosphere to the festival with his passion for the Reggae and Dancehall culture.
The Amsterdam Reggae Festival is the event for all music and reggae fanatics wishing to express themselves, which is why visitors of all ages attend this annual festival. The previous editions of the Amsterdam Reggae Festival have all been unforgettable due to a great atmosphere and the exciting music, which made the nights seem too short in the sold out Heineken Music Hall.
