Everything is ready for the 10th edition of OverJam, Slovenia

The festival will take place from August 15th-20th in Tolmin (Slovenia) headlined by Alborosie, Morgan Heritage, Kiril Djaikovski, Collie Buddz and Max Romeo

Everything is ready for the tenth edition of OverJam International More Than Reggae Festival to be held in Tolmin (Slovenia) from August 15th-20th. It will be the longest edition in its history with six festival days and five concert nights, as ever, by the magnificent natural setting of the Soča River.

This year there will be 27 live concerts, and over 40 sound systems on three different stages (dancehall, dub and roots). There will also be six days of activities such as Workshops, talks at the University, OverJam Cinema, OverJam4Kidz and, for the first time, online radio.

The lineup includes, among many others, artists like Alborosie, Morgan Heritage, Kiril Djaikovski, Collie Buddz, Max Romeo, The Abyssinians, Mellow Mood, Jesse Royal, Skarra Mucci, Vibronics and Robbo Ranx.

Daytime hours will be packed with activities for all audiences. The University, led by the UK based writer, selector and broadcaster Angus Taylor, will offer musical conferences with guests such as Collie Buddz, Kiril Djaikovski, Queen Omega, Mellow Mood, and many others. Among this year’s many features, the OverJam Cinema will be screening various documentaries. There will also be dancehall, slackline, yoga, artistic and spiritual workshops. The OverJam4Kidz space will have its exclusive daytime program with activities for the little ones, as well as an evening schedule for the very first time. In addition, the festival area there will host the OverJam Marketplace and quality, healthy food and drink stalls.

All this will take place in the Slovenian village of Tolmin, next to the fluvial beach at the confluence of the Tolminka and Soča rivers, surrounded by the magnificent natural environment of the Triglav National Park, a paradise for water and mountain sports. As always, the Overjam organisation will demonstrate its commitment to the environment by applying a series of measures to minimise its impact. Also, with the heat wave this summer and due to high fire risk, open fires will not be allowed.

Tickets are on sale at overjamfestival.com at the price of €175 for the entire event or €55 per day. The ticket price includes access to the campsite and numerous services. The festival offers transportation services from airports and nearby cities, among many other facilities. Check the website for further useful information.
