King Charlz set to release “Still Searching’ Album

This December 14, 2018, Florida based Reggae singer King Charlz aka Kevaughn N Charlton will release his 8 track debut album dubbed “Still Searching” on the Valholla Entertainment Label. The artist has been busy, just recently, this November he released the first track of the album called “I Don’t Mind” and he performed at the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival in South Florida.

ABOUT KING CHARLZ
KING CHARLZ is a Jamaican singer/songwriter. Charlz grew up in the central Saint Catherine Community of Dela Vega City, Spanish Town in Jamaica. He attended Kingston College for 3 years then later migrated to the United States in 2009 to live with his mother in The U.S.
He completed the rest of his High School career at Miramar High School and later attended Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, (with the intent of obtaining a degree in music business and theory.)

Charlz had the gift of music at an early age. Coming from a musical family, he learned how to sing from hearing his uncle’s Gospel Group sing harmonies every sabbath afternoon when they would practice to sing at church.
His mother discovered his love for the art and invested in his growing talent by getting him his first piano at age 8.
Apart from singing, He also plays a variety of musical instruments which include: piano, drums, guitar, bass and more. With his many talent and an engaging personality, he confidently set out to make his mark in music. He decided to prematurely exit college and continue his journey in music.
In late 2014 he started performing at various events in South Florida. His performances caught the eyes of some familiar faces in the Jamaican reggae space which later brought him to Jamaica to work with the likes of Bobby ‘Bobby Digital’ Dixon.
He is best known for his singles ‘Still Searching’ and ‘Move On’.
King Charlz is highly influenced by a host of artist such as Ini Kamoze, Protoje, Chronixx, Chris Brown and Drake just to name a few.
