Stephen Marley ready for his U.S. Tour in April and May 2014 (Tourdates inside)

Throughout April and May, the Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and producer Stephen “Ragga” Marley will headline some of the most prestigious venues in over 30 cities nationwide on his Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life Tour. See full schedule below. For most up-to-date routing visit:

Stephen is gearing up for his summer album Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life, released on his label Ghetto Youths International (which is co-owned with his brothers Damian and Julian). His forthcoming album is the second installment in a two part series, following his 2012 Grammy-winning Best Reggae Album Revelation Part I: The Root of Life.  Whereas The Root of Life is a celebration and preservation of roots reggae, filled with powerful messages, enriching spirit and live instrumentation,  The Fruit of Life will utilize a diversified sonic palette to express the far-reaching impact Jamaican music has had on various genres, especially hip hop. The new album features a variety of guest collaborations with Rick Ross, Dead Prez, Rakim, DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean, Shaggy, Black Thought (of The Roots), Bounty Killer, Sizzla, Capleton, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Ky-mani Marley, Jo Mersa and more.

On his father Bob Marley’s birthday, Stephen also revealed one of the album’s cuts “Thorn Or A Rose” ft. Black Thought. Rolling Stone premiered the “soulful” track and raved how it weighed “in on 21st century race relations and staying true to yourself amidst a laconic, jazzy backdrop.” Read full article here:

Stephen will be previewing songs from Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life and playing beloved hits from his previous albums, all which won a Grammy for Best Reggae Album. Dancehall reggae artists Jo Mersa (son of Stephen Marley) and Wayne Marshall, who are both under the Ghetto Youths International umbrella, will join Stephen on this multi-city tour throughout the spring.

Stephen will get back on the road in the U.S. with Slightly Stoopid throughout the summer. Dates are TBA. /
