Benelux Reggae Contest 2012
Over the last months no less than 36 bands entered the Benelux Reggae Contest, nicely divided over The Netherlands (17) and Belgium (19). Out of these 36 bands our jury selected 10 bands to participate in a second round.
The second round of the Benelux Reggae Contest is that part of the competition where an important part will be played by you, the audience. Alongside a different jury you will get the opportunity to vote for 3 bands to perform at the live final that will be held on 6th April 2012 in ‘De Muziekgieterij’ in Maastricht, Holland.
The 10 bands that are selected to battle for our great package of prizes are: Ace Black & The Jah Soldierz Band, Black Omega & The Team, Black Out Dub, Fullanny & The Rootscontrolahz, Heartwash, Racine Congo, Rudewalkin’, Skarbone 14, Sunrockers and The Tuners.
You can listen to a selection of songs by these bands on our website www.beneluxreggaecontest.eu. Pick your favourite band and support them by voting online. Voting will close on 11th march 2012.

Liefst 36 bands schreven zich de afgelopen maanden in voor de Benelux Reggae Contest, netjes verdeeld over Nederland (17) en België (19). Uit deze 36 kandidaten werden door een jury 10 bands geselecteerd die doorstoten naar de tweede ronde.
In deze ronde is er naar goede oude gewoonte ook nu weer een belangrijke rol weggelegd voor jullie, het publiek. Samen met een nieuwe vakjury zal het publiek immers beslissen welke drie bands doorgaan naar de live-finale op vrijdag 6 april 2012 in De Muziekgieterij te Maastricht. De 10 bands die meedingen naar het mooie prijzenpakket zijn: Ace Black & The Jah Soldierz Band, Black Omega & The Team, Black Out Dub, Fullanny & The Rootscontrolahz, Heartwash, Racine Congo, Rudewalkin’, Skarbone 14, Sunrockers en The Tuners.
Songs van al deze bands zijn te beluisteren op onze website www.beneluxreggaecontest.eu. Kies uw favoriete band uit en steun hen door uw stem uit te brengen. Dit kan tot uiterlijk 11 maart 2012.

Pas moins de 36 groupes se sont inscrits ces derniers mois au Benelux Reggae Contest. Ils sont répartis presque également entre les Pays Bas (17) et la Belgique (19). Parmi ces 36 candidats, un jury de professionnels a choisi 10 groupes qui passeront donc à la deuxième étape du concours.
Comme nous en avons pris l’habitude, nous accordons un rôle important au public dans ce deuxième tour. En effet, le public pourra décider des trois groupes qui iront à la finale Live le 6 avril prochain à la Muziekgieterij à Maastricht. Le vote du public entrera en compte à côté de celui du jury de professionnels.
Les 10 groupes préselectionnés et sont en lice pour gagner un fantastique lot de récompenses sont : Ace Black & The Jah Soldierz Band, Black Omega & The Team, Black Out Dub, Fullanny & The Rootscontrolahz, Heartwash, Racine Congo, Rudewalkin’, Skarbone 14, Sunrockers et The Tuners.
Vous pouvez écouter des chansons de chacun de ces groupes sur notre site www.beneluxreggaecontest.eu. Choisissez votre groupe préféré et soutenez les en leur donnant votre vote ! Les votes sont ouverts jusqu’au 11 mars 2012.
