Bulby York set to Release new “HeartCrafted” album

Super producer Collin “Bulby” York is set to release another great production this September 18, 2020, and we were so fortunate to hear the majority of the tracks first. And oh what a joy, how much better could it start for us than with the sweet voice of Uncle Beres Hammond. Beres opens the Album with a track called Teenie Weenie alongside Agent Sasco. The warmth of Beres Voice goes very well with the rough-edged voice of Sasco on this one.

Since the album has a lot of tracks we won’t go through all of them, because as you know, World A Reggae doesn’t decide for you which track is good and which isn’t. That’s all up to your own listening ear. The next rack for us is a cover of the Lord Creator classic “Kingston Town“, a collaboration between Kumar and Chino.

After two slow tracks, we listen to a nice oldskool dancehall track by Charly Black called Stronger. followed by a magnificent collaboration between Etana and Lutan Fyah called “All That You Have Is Your Soul“. It’s good to hear those two great singers back together in collaboration since their previous one called “GUN”.

Our next track instantly gives us those real reggae vibes with, as Freddie McGregor opens:, “The Baddest riddim of all times, Stalag!” One of our favorites on the album alongside the honey voice of Sanchez called “Love Wonderful“. This one is directly followed by the soothing “Sentimental Mood” with the Brass Boss Dean Fraser doing what he does best. A great one to get in the mood with your partner 🙂

The next track is called “Home Tonight” a collaboration with Cecile and Busy Signal. A nice lovey-dovey Reggae tune that follows great after the mood set by Dean Fraser earlier on the album.

Back to the dancehall after all the slow music, Legends Tanto Metro and Devonte move the Tempo up with the energetic How You Gwaan So alongside Reggaeton singer Billy the Diamond.

Moving on further along the album tracklist we are taking it slow again with “Going Blind” another collaboration, this time we hear Deanna and Rygin King singing they can’t see the bigger picture.

Back to the Dancehall again on the next track, Konshens ft Tifa with “Emergency“. Not really our thing, so we skipped this one. Maybe it is more your style… Straight after that, we stay in an upbeat Soca like mood with Marci Chin and Skinny Fabulous with Blunts and Backshots. A track for the faint-hearted and for the more adult ears. A whole heap a ting going on here 🙂

Like nothing profane has happened on the previous track we roll into the sweet voice of Anthony Red Rose with a lovers rock song called Queen of the Ghetto.

The album ends just as good as it started, The legendary Horace Andy sings his classic Money Money Money a likkle way different alongside the Big Bad Jahbar I, who floods this track with the same energy as we he displays on stage.

We enjoyed the album very much, a great display of nowadays Jamaican Music. Another success for Mr. York. That’s why we called him a Superproducer!
