Ras Cherry – World War

Ziggy Blacks Productions would like to introduce to the world the artist RAS CHERRY  – who is set to release his debut single title “World-war”.
Wah-Lindo Cherry, more popularly known as “Ras Cherry” was born in St. Croix, The United States Virgin Islands on April 22, 1982.  Wah-Lindo grew up in a music oriented family and was inspired in his early years by both his cousins – “The Great Abu” and “Ambition,” who were well known musicians playing in the reggae band, “Umojah.”  While transitioning through the different stages of his life, Wah-Lindo has always had an ever growing interest in the performing arts. However, it was after listening to “The Doctor Early B” during the transition to Rastafari was when he realized that singing and toasting can be done just as appealing with more clean and conscious lyrics.
“World-War” is the first official release from Ras Cherry – speaking to the world he has taken the initiative to use his voice and talents for promoting peace, love and a positive change in society.  World War – International Crime Scene: It’s really about warfare that affects the world. An abundance of resources are used to endorse war, while many people still suffer through hardship – hunger. Weapons that cause destruction and can lead to a rebellion. Everyone is affected by a war – whether it is directly or indirectly. We need to unite and spend more time helping those in hardship and promoting world peace.
Single “World-war” out now on pre-order expected release: June 23, 2015.
