City Splash Festival 2025 is set to bring the best of Caribbean and African music to Brockwell Park, London, continuing its mission to celebrate the deep-rooted influence of Caribbean and African culture in the UK and beyond. The festival, now recognized as the largest one-day event of its kind, pays homage to the sounds that shaped generations—from roots and reggae to afrobeats and dancehall. This year’s lineup for Monday, May 26th, 2024 just got even bigger, with international dancehall star Popcaan set to take the stage, alongside UK music icon Ms Dynamite, pioneering producer Mad Professor, and a wave of rising talent across reggae, dancehall, soul, and afrobeats.
City Splash 2025 also welcomes fresh talent through its ‘Rise Up’ initiative, a platform supporting emerging Caribbean artists, with this year’s roster featuring Jaz Elise, Ras-I, Nesta, and more. BBC Radio 1Xtra returns as an official partner, capturing the festival’s electric energy with live sets and artist interviews. More than just a music festival, City Splash is a movement, championing Black music, food, dance, and culture in an unmatched day of unity and celebration.
