At a time when authentic roots reggae seemingly has been pushed to the sidelines, it’s a real breath of fresh air to hear this new release. “Give Love” is the third single from “Harder Than The Rock”, the new album by reggae pioneers Cimarons. Formed in London in 1967 by Jamaican musicians including Franklyn Dunn and Locksley Gichie, they were Europe’s first reggae band. Known for their work with Trojan Records and legends like Bob Marley and Jimmy Cliff, their story is told in the documentary Harder Than The Rock. Today, with new vocalist Michael Arkk, they continue their legacy. This new album was produced by Roberto Sánchez at A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio in Spain.
