Ghanaian singer Shasha Marley is back with a powerful new album, Africa Rise, released last July 12, 2025. Known for classics like Twin City Mafia and I’m Not Ashamed of the Gospel, Shasha delivered sixteen tracks of conscious reggae aimed at uplifting the spirit and bringing Africans together, no matter their race, creed, politics, or religion.
From the title track’s Pan-African call to This Generation’s message for today’s youth, to the reflective Black People Everywhere Are The Same, the album moves between social commentary, spiritual reasoning, and personal storytelling. There are nods to his Ghanaian roots with Nyame Ye Ohen (God Is King), tributes like For My DJ in Kenya, and meditations on history and identity in Repatriation (The Lost & The Found).
Africa Rise is available now on all major streaming platforms.
