Better Ways – T Natty

You might recognize the ‘Westmoreland riddim’ from Inezi’s hit “Mind Check,” and now T. Natty steps on that same Addis Records production with his latest release “Better Ways”. Same foundation, different voice.

Coming out of Montego Bay, T. Natty has been building his thing independently for a while now. Not waiting around, just putting in the work, linking with producers across different corners and shaping his own lane. That approach comes through on this track as well.

The strength of this production is also in the musicians behind it. With big musicians like Kirk Bennett on drums, Mitchum Khan on guitar, Dean Fraser on sax, Wrong Move on bass and Jil Addis handling keys and arrangements, the foundation is solid and gives the track its depth.

“The track draws its strength from a context marked by current conflicts, which it directly opposes.
Here, the quest for a “better way” is not simply an ideal, but an urgent necessity in the face of a world fractured by war and violence.”

If you’ve been following what Addis Records has been doing lately, this is another piece of that puzzle. Different artists, same foundation, each bringing their own angle.
