Through the lens of photographer Rik de Blick, Reggae Geel 2025 comes to life all over again. The Belse Bossen once more became a meeting ground for reggae lovers from across the globe, with three days of music, connection, and the kind of atmosphere only Geel can create.

This year’s edition brought unforgettable performances from Alpha Blondy & The Solar System, Protoje & The Indiggnation, Sister Nancy, Steel Pulse, Inna de Yard, Gentleman, Lila Iké, Mr. Williamz, The Gladiators, Blaiz Fayah, Teejay, and Reemah. The Gold Stage delivered a powerful mix of foundation artists and fresh voices, keeping the crowd moving from afternoon until deep into the night.

The Bounce Dancehall stage turned up the energy with Typhoon, and Discobar Galaxie, while the Dub Forest offered the deep meditative pull of Scientist with Sister Nancy, Channel One, Young Warrior, Blackboard Jungle, Jah Chalice Soundsystem, Jah Militant, Tippy I Grade & Reemah, Sisters in Dub, Roots Daughters, Forward Fever with LS Kologne, Dub Traveller with LS Galas, Waga Waga Soundsystem with King Samir & Jacky Roots, and Roots Wire.

Belgium’s own sounds and crews stood tall alongside international names, proving once again that Reggae Geel is as much about the local scene as it is about the global reggae family. Whether in the crowd, at the front of the stage, or lost in the depths of the Dub Forest, the warmth and unity of this festival could be felt everywhere.
