Photos: Shaggy at Ziggodome Amsterdam 2025

Last night, the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, known for having one of Europe’s cleanest live sounds, got a taste of reggae and dancehall before diving into Pitbull’s Latin/80s-infused party set. Mr Boombastic hit the stage as the official support act, backed by NYC crew RSNY and Shane “Frvnchyz” Hoosong.

It’s never easy to open for a headliner with such a distinct fanbase, and last night was no exception. The sea of bald heads and moustaches in the crowd made it clear: these were Pitbull people. But Shaggy’s energy, catalogue, and presence managed to pull attention forward with this young crowd, even through the thick stage haze that hung over the show.

Though it was a short set, the chemistry on stage was solid. RSNY brought the energy, and Shaggy, ever the showman, dipped into classics with that same charisma that’s kept him touring for decades.
