Madelaine presents her new single Rise, in collaboration with the legendary Luciano. After three decades as a fan of the Jamaican artist, the singer had the opportunity to meet him at Rebel Salute, where she finally proposed a collaboration that has now come to life in this distinctly roots track.
Rise, originally conceived for Luciano as a solo project and written entirely by him, ultimately became a true collaboration featuring Madelaine’s voice and presence. The recording took place at Harry J Studio, home to countless reggae classics, while the riddim is one of those Madelaine recorded at the iconic Tuff Gong studio.
With this release, Madelaine and Luciano bring together melodies, roots, and deep respect for reggae tradition: a bridge between generations, a fusion of admiration, talent, and authentic Jamaican spirit. Both artists highlight the importance of being grateful each day for life itself and adopting a positive mindset in the face of challenges.
The Italian singer is set to release a new single in early 2026, as part of her upcoming album scheduled for March.
Rise is available on 7-inch vinyl and digital platforms, and comes accompanied by a music video and a dub version.
