With his latest EP Give It Your All, reggae artist Dahvid Slur steps forward with intention — delivering five tracks rooted in spirituality, perseverance, and purpose.

The EP opens with “This Morning” featuring Jah Vezl from Portmore, a meditative reminder to rise and give thanks, while “The Psalm 23” taps directly into scripture, reminding us of protection in the face of struggle. On “Do Jah Works”, Dahvid links up with Kencott, Kingston-based artist Karbon to echo the mission: keep doing the work, even when the path feels heavy.

The title track “Give It Your All” brings it all together — a call to stay focused, stay grateful, and stay active in both faith and action. The official video, on YouTube since November 1, 2024, visually captures this message with quiet strength and clarity.

When asked about the journey to create this EP, Dahvid answered World A Reggae: Creating this EP was a new experience musically. The production side was easy with the support and help of Sakaii Media, Marily Gustus Music, Sinky beatz, and Trey drumz. The quality and feel were what I had aimed for as a more intimate one. The experience which was new to me was expressing personal challenges musically as I’ve gotten deeper than I have before, with songs like Give it your All which is the featured track in the project, a lot of listeners have said this is a new side of me they haven’t heard before and the receptions have been wonderful. Gathering 74 thousand streams a month after the complete project release. It truly has been a wonderful reception so far.“
