After being seemingly quiet for a while (or maybe in Exile as they call it these days), one of reggae’s clearest voices Righteous Child (R.C.) steps forward with a new track titled “Smile”, released on SHOPPIST MUSIC’s new Moods Of Silk Riddim. The song feels like a small preview of where R.C. is heading, especially with a new album on the way soon.

The Moods Of Silk Riddim is a five-track project that also includes songs from Slashe, Kozmik Consciousnez and six-time Juno Award winner Exco Levi. Each artist brings a different angle to the riddim, but “Smile” stands out as R.C.’s return moment, carrying a positive tone and a message that fits him well.
