Icecold

Icecold, born Glen Stone on February 17th 1984 in Kingston, Jamaica and grew up in a community called MUDTOWN. After leaving clancarthy high school the influences of the great Capleton, Bounty killer and Sizzla made him decide that the dancehall industry was his calling, first linking up with well known producer Godaffi manger for merciless where he recorded his first tune titled “too young” which was a feature with a callaloo man. He then met up with the nemesis sound crew from the uptown regions of Kingston, this link led to the introduction to remix king and producer dj karim (Stainless Music) in 2005 who describes icecold as “Icecold has a unique sound which can make it to the big leagues”.

Icecold has recorded a number of songs since linking up with dj karim of which two(2) are available now on I-tunes on the dancehall episode vol.1 compilation on the stainless label. Other producers icecold has voiced for include Supahype, Don Corleone, Super Blaxxx and new comers Aleada who produced his latest single titled “mek money” which he is currently promoting, the track has a nice flowing melodious hook with to the point verses which also defines the style of this artist.

Icecold has gained the respect of many people in the industry who see him as a potential hitmaker and as icecold plans to take his career to the international level dj karim and supahype intend to provide the right guidance and direction for him, so you can keep your ears and eyes open for the “critically acclaimed” ICECOLD …………
