Jason Mcdermott aka Stylo G who is the son of the Legengary “Poison Chang” is a UK Dancehall artist causing quite a buzz locally and worldwide with his explosive lyrics and captivating music . Jason Mcdermott aka Stylo G was born on 16th July 1985, in Spanish Town Jamaica and moved to the Uk at the age of 15 where He and his brother Kodi Starr formerly of (Crazy Cousinz) have been involved in UK music scene from his arrival.
Growing up his musical heroes were early 1990’s ragga acts such as Shabba Ranks,Super Cat and his father – Poison Chang.(who delivered the early global 90’s hit Press-up Press-up)
In early 2004 Stylo G Sickman & Ice Kid released a song called “My Yute” which has had major chart success and will always be a favourite for his UK fans.
Stylo G has collaborated with artist such as Giggs(UK Rapper) Chipmunk, Lisa Hype, General B, Chi Ching Ching & many more to list.
Look out in 2011 for the upcoming debut album release from Stylo G called “Leader”.
