Delly Ranx will release his new cd: THE NEXT CHAPTER

DANCEHALL recording artiste Delly Ranx will be hosting an album release part at the Happy Ending Lounge in Manhattan, New York.

His new album is titled The Next Chapter.

The artiste, who has previously released three other albums, believes that reggae has a currency and appeal that is timeless. It also allows him to bridge that generational gap between the young listeners who love all genres of music and ageing dancehall lovers seeking different musical palettes.

“It was worthwhile for me to release a reggae album to bridge the gap between the younger folks and the elders so that people can appreciate reggae again,” Delly Ranx said.

Delly Ranx has been working on the album for the last three years and will release it under his Pure Music Productions label. The album also features a charming mix of collaborations with veterans in the music business, as well as up-and-coming artistes.

“I collaborated with Bunny Rugs from Third World on a song called Life After Lifetime. I also have a collab with Buju Banton called Thunder Roll. My youngest daughter Gabrielle Foster also collaborated with me on a song called Baby Cry and I did a song called One a Way Soldier (remix) with an artiste called Chali2na,” Delly Ranx said.

Other dancehall artistes who have changed the thrust of their music from hardcore dancehall to reggae include Mr Vegas, Cobra, Busy Signal and of course, the legends Capleton and Buju Banton.
