A Reggae Bomb – Still going on strong

When traveling to Holland, or even better visiting Utrecht City, don’t forget to check out the Agenda of the Tivoli Venue. It might be your lucky weekend if you see A reggae Bomb on it!
Being probably the longest running ‘Dance’ in the Netherlands, A Reggaebomb, started 10 years ago by Nigerian DJ Duke in The Ekko venue in Utrecht. When Ekko became to small the party moved to Tivoli de Helling.

Meanwhile DJ Duke left the stage and during the years he got replaced by a whole crew of enthusiasts, Ivoryman, Livewire, Sista Souljah, Skank Around Sound and since a few years Selecta Don Arco. The vibes at A Reggae Bomb are always positive and uplifting. When visiting A reggae Bomb you can expect a night full of Roots, Ska, Rocksteady and 90’s Dancehall. Once in a while an (upcoming) artist or sound hits the stage or spins some tunes.

This year 2012, A Reggae Bomb celebrated his sizzling10th Anniversary in Tivoli Oudegracht, alongside  Stephen Marley and U-Brown and they are still going strong.

Tonight (Fri, October 2012) will be another night full of surprises as the DJ Booth is being shared with ‘Sound Armada‘ feat. ‘Di Dutch Bwoy, Mr Patze‘ and  ‘Black Star Foundation‘. Black Star will be showcasing their latest riddim, the Bad Girls Riddim. Starting at 23:00 the party only costs you 7 euro… not much for a night of fun!

So, hurry up and forward to Tivoli De Helling tonight to experience some original irie vibes!
