Een unieke affiche vol ontdekkingen en klassiekers!
Op de 23e editie ontvangt Dour Festival meer dan 200 bands en dj’s. Een rijke bron van muziek waaraan de Dour-gangers zich tegen democratische prijzen kunnen laven. Op het menu: enkele grote klassiekers, de must see acts van het moment en een greep uit de ontdekkingen van morgen.
Muzikale diversiteit staat voorop.
Voor deze 23e editie staan de 200 acts verspreid over 7 podia: een nieuw hoofdpodium (Last Arena) op dezelfde plaats als vorig jaar en 6 tenten. Elke tent krijgt zijn eigen muzikale kleur mee. Een van de nieuwe podia, de Cannibal Stage, staat van vrijdag tot zondag helemaal in het teken van metal en hardcore. Het andere nieuwe podium, de Balzaal, vormt van donderdag tot zondagochtend het decor voor feestjes met drum’n’bass, dubstep, elektro en techno!
Trouwe festivalbezoekers kijken vast uit naar het weerzien met de 4 andere podia: de Clubcircuit Marquee, La Petite Maison dans la Prairie, Magic Sound System en de Dance Hall. Zoals gebruikelijk biedt de line-up een staalkaart van groepen uit alle continenten en alle genres: rock, elektro, metal, reggae, hiphop, …
Een geweldige sfeer.
Dour Festival staat vooral bekend om zijn geweldige sfeer. Het festival is niet alleen het grootste muziekfestival in Wallonië, maar ook het belangrijkste toeristische evenement in het zuidelijk landsgedeelte. Sinds 1989 komt een eclectisch publiek uit alle hoeken van Europa naar het festival afzakken om vier dagen lang samen te feesten, ontdekkingen te doen en van de muziek te genieten. Het festivalterrein is zodanig ingedeeld dat we festivalgangers en professionals in de best mogelijke omstandigheden kunnen ontvangen: een heleboel bars (waaronder de Bar du Petit Bois, overdag geopend voor de festivalgangers en ‘s avonds uitsluitend voor professionals, die na het succes van vorig jaar opnieuw de deuren zal openen) en voldoende ontspanningszones. Recept voor een geslaagde Dour cocktail: diversiteit, ontdekkingen, klassiekers en een geweldige sfeer voor een democratische prijs. Jaar na jaar weet deze formule festivalgangers uit heel Europa te overtuigen.
Een geëngageerd festival.
Geëngageerd zijn is ook oog hebben voor het leefmilieu. Daarom zet het festival haar publiek, professionals en partners aan om afval te sorteren en te recycleren. We waken over de netheid van het terrein gedurende het hele festival, we stimuleren het gebruik van openbaar vervoer, we werken samen met verenigingen die de festivalgangers sensibiliseren, we maken het terrein toegankelijk voor mensen met een handicap, enzovoort.

A unique and high-quality line-up with classic and new groups!
It’s back again! Dour Festival will welcome more than 200 groups and DJs for music lovers for its 23rd edition. It is a line-up that is anything but run-of-the-mill, at a fair price for the festival-goers coming to discover the groups of the moment, of tomorrow, and, of course, of yesteryear.
A festival that promotes musical diversity.
For the 23rd edition, the 200 groups and DJs will appear across 7 stages: a new, big stage in the same place as last year and 6 tents. Each tent will fly the colours of its own particular genre. One of the new tents, the Cannibal Stage will be devoted, on Friday and Sunday, to metal and hardcore, whilst a second, the Balzaal, will offer drum’n’bass, dubstep, electro and techno from Thursday to Sunday morning. For the regulars, you will still find the four perennial festival tents: ClubCircuitMarquee, La Petite Maison dans la Prairie, Magic Sound System, and the Dance Hall! The line-up, as ever, will draw together all the continents and will be as diverse as possible: rock, electro, metal, reggae and hip-hop.
A unique atmosphere.
Every year, Dour Festival is, more than anything, made by its unique atmosphere, making it the premier tourist event of the Walloon region. Every summer since 1989, an eclectic crowd from all backgrounds have been living together and sharing music together. During these 4 days of festivities, it is a real community that is created, where everyone comes to discover and exchange happiness and good humour. On site, there are the necessary facilities to welcome festival-goers and professionals in optimal conditions – numerous bars (including the veritable success-story of last year, the Bar du Petit Bois, open in the daytime for festival-goers and reserved for professionals in the evening) as well as numerous rest and relaxation areas. This is the Dour cocktail: diversity, new groups, classics, and good humour, all for a fair price. Festival-goers from all over Europe come to take part in the festival.
A responsable festival.
Responsability means preserving your environment. That’s why Dour Festival puts waste-sorting and recycling facilities at the disposal of the public, of professionals and of its partners. We keep a close eye on the cleanliness of the site during the course of the festival and encourage the use of public transport. We receive numerous associations who help raise awareness among festival-goers and we make sure that the festival is accessible for those will mobility difficulties.
