Ginjah will kick off his ‘Fall In Love’ Tour of Europe in Sweden

Ginjah will kick off his Fall In Love Tour of Europe on May 22 in Sweden. The singer did not disclose details of the trek but said he will be accompanied by producer/sound system selector DJ Amsha from Sweden.

Fall in Love is also the title of a song the Rastafarian artiste recorded in 2022 for Tad’s International Record. Ginjah will also use the tour to promote The Message Album, his latest studio project which was released last December by Black Metro Music.

His ninth album is out two years after his previous work, Ginjah The Reggae Soul Man.

“The Message Album speaks volumes. As it is said, ‘The message is In the music’.  I don’t think it’s much different (than Reggae Soul Man) because my topics is always consistent with consciousness. My music is based on spirituality, even when I’m singing about romance,” said Ginjah.

Ginjah has toured Europe before. This was over 15 years ago when he was a member of Beres Hammond’s Harmony House label. It’s been some time since he hit the road and he’s looking forward to an overdue return. “The Fall  In Love Tour will take me all over Europe. It’s time for I to take my message to the four corners of the Earth,” he stated.

Ginjah was born in Hanover, a rural parish in western Jamaica. Most of his youth, however, was spent in Central Village, a rough community on the outskirts of Kingston, the Jamaican capital.
He began recording in the mid-1990s for in producers such as Lloyd “King Jammy” James. Ginjah’s sound eventually caught the attention of Hammond who was the hottest act in Jamaican music.

After four years with Hammond, Ginjah assumed control of his career. His hits include Sweet Killer and Guilty Conscience.
