As we all know, Morgan Heritage is not just a reggae band. For more than three decades, the Grammy Award-winning siblings of the Morgan family have been among the leading faces of modern roots reggae. Founded by the children of Jamaican reggae icon Denroy Morgan Sr.: Una, Gramps, Peetah, Lukes and Mr. Mojo Morgan, the group has released 12 studio albums, earned numerous awards, and left its mark around the world. Their music breathes love, Rastafari, social justice, family and faith, bringing together Jamaica, Africa, Europe and America through sound.
After a period of reflection and recovery, Una Morgan, one of the original members, has returned to the stage stronger than ever. At the same time, Jemere Morgan, Gramps’ eldest son, has taken over the role as the new frontman after the passing of Peetah. Morgan Heritage 2.0 remains true to the heart of the band while also creating space for fresh energy and new ideas. Every performance carries the spirit of Peetah, while the mission remains clear: to keep reggae alive, bring people together, and inspire generations. On Thursday, May 28, they will do exactly that in our Main Hall!
