DJ745’s Irie Jamms Show, June 2018

The June edition of the Irie Jamms Show with DJ 745 on with a new look and featuring two hours in the very latest reggae music. This month we showcase Kabaka Pyramid’s highly anticipated ‘Kontraband’ debut album as well as brand new singles from Alborosie and Protoje both featuring Chronixx as a special guest and a brand new Beres Hammond 7″ VINYL single on Harmony House Records entitled ‘I’m Alive’.

New reggae artists featured include a father and son combination McALion & Binghi ‘Believe In Me’ on WorldAReggae Records produced by Fitzroy ‘Primetime Dave’ Green, the excellent Rik Jam’s ‘Love Never Lost’ on Irie Yute Records, Earl Chinna Smith produced Delphine ‘It’s Nature’ and Dann-I’s ‘When She High’ alongside seasoned veterans Linval Thompson on Med Tone Records, Luciano on an acoustic update of ‘Serve Jah’ and Curtis Lynch/ Maxi Priest with ‘Do You Remember’.

The number one single on the Global Reggae Charts for June from Raging Fyah is also featured alongside a new Etana single taken from a new compilation from Penthouse Records remembering Culture/ Joseph Hill and two songs remembering the Windrush Generation from Slashe ‘As the World Turns’ and Sister Audrey’s ‘English Girl’ on Ariwa Records.
