BOB FEST AG FAIR 2012 HAWAII

In light of recent developments Keep It Green Hawaii, referred to here out as KIGH, has changed the name of the event slated Sunday, February 12th from Bob Fest Ag Fair to Hawaii Reggae & Agricultural Fair.

On February 12th, 2012 the  Mo’oheau Park & Bandstand in downtown Hilo, Hawaii will be the home of the 5th BOB FEST AG FAIR. This Fair is organized by KEEP IT GREEN HAWAII – conceived in 2008 to promote music and agriculture after performer Sahra Indio performed at the Rastafarian Ag Fair in St. Thomas USVI (US Virgin Islands) and was asked by the elders at the fair to create a similar event in Hawaii in 2007.

The annual fair is held in celebration of Bob Marley’s Birthday to encourage and support sustainable, organic farms, gardens, lifestyles that strengthen the island community.

In true Bob Fest Ag Fair tradition the organization brings to you a top class line up of artists and dj’s for 2012. Confirmed so far are Bambu Station, Junior Toots, Irae Divine, Sahra Indio,  Isa Rebel, Maka Gallinger, The Original Fyah Redbeard, Ben Kaili, Ras & Queen Sparrow and Ras Gabriel.

Next to the Live Performances the fair brings you , Live Dj’s, Sustainable Green Living, , Community Strengthening, Projects, Creative Arts, Merchandise Stalls, Water Truck, Zero Waste, Education, Natural Foods and Green Products.
