Jah Marnyah – Musical Party

JAH MARNYAH releases his new single MUSICAL PARTY on 9th December 2011. Available for download, the track is produced by Faya Wurks Records

Musical Party is the lead out single from his forthcoming debut album ‘A New Day’ which is set for release Spring 2012. This much anticipated collection sees Jah Marnyah evolving as a reggae artist.

Born in Montserrat, Jah Marnyah left the country following the volcanic eruptions of the mid-90s. Now based in the UK, he has toured internationally and worked with top producers from a variety of genres. These include Dub veteran Vibronics, electronic/ hip hop studio king Catskills and many reggae producers.

Musical Party is inspired by original rocksteady, ska and reggae. The track ultilises the ‘dance riddim’ created by French-born composer Sound Guyz and mixed by ‘Faby’ from Dub Akom Records. It also features the talents of the Dub Akom band – one of reggae’s most popular backing bands and producers.

Jah Marnyah is an internationally acclaimed reggae artist whose hits include “Rasta is Love”, “Anointed One” and “Stormy Weathers”. In a career spanning seven years, he has performed at festivals and shows around the world, including Reggae Geel-Belgium. He has also shared a stage with top reggae artist Anthony B, as well as featuring with leading Sound Systems such as UK Dub master Aba-Shanti.

Jah Marnyah describes Musical Party “as the party that everyone can join in, just come with positive vibes, feel good and dance”.

The single is accompanied by a high quality music video, which also premieres on Friday 9th December via Jah Marnyah’s Facebook page and other leading music web-sites such as Reggae France.

Jah Marnyah has an extensive tour lined up for spring/ summer 2012. Full dates to be announced soon.
