Reggae Geel completes Line up for 2023 edition.

Reggae Geel’s 2023 line-up is complete. Get ready for a tasty sweet! Light up, move your hips! We’ve added some great names to our already impressive line-up.

From Main Stage to Bounce Dancehall and Dub Forest: our audience better gets ready for shows as tight as freshly washed jeans.

Main Stage : Grammy Winners & Legends
First up: Masego! This Jamaican-born US artist brings magic to our Saturday night. His recent show at Core Festival gathered more stars than Paul Bocuse can count. Did you know his music has collected over 1 billion streams on Spotify?

The sensual sax from his signature song “Tadow” is known around the country. After his debut “Lady, Lady”, and his second album “Masego”, this guy is ready to go big. His genius fusion of soul, jazz and R&B makes its mark on the world. “TrapHouseJazz” is what he calls it. And who are we to dispute the master?

Next up: Mr. Vegas! This dancehall artist crushed it hard in the 90s, especially with his anthem “Heads High”. Today, he’s still one of the most influential and acclaimed dancehall artists in the world. A high-energy hit machine, serving his discography sizzling hot!

Another big hitter: Richie Spice. At the beginning of the millennium, this new roots artist chewed out one classic after another—an energy explosion on stage, with a voice that ruthlessly aims at your dancing feet.

Jesse Royal launched his debut in 2017 and immediately went on the Billboard Reggae Album Chart. His second album, “Royal”, was nominated for a Grammy and the “2021 Album of the Year” award.

Last, but not least: the funky and loving reggae from Young Israelites from – you’ll not believe this – Israel! Check their YouTube channel and get infatuated. Nattali Rize and Ras I, two young potentials with loads of ambition, complete our Main Stage line-up.

Bounce Dancehall: No Sleep Because Of Brooklyn
Well, if you’re a legendary sound system from the city that never sleeps, expectations run high. No worries, King Addies will certainly deliver. This NY sound system is known as one of the most influential in the world. Already at it for 33 years, they’re delivering pure dynamite at our Bounce Dancehall on Saturday.

Code Red Sound is the undisputed emperor of the Jamaican scene. These guys have smashed parties from Ottawa to Johannesburg. On Saturday, they’ll set our Bounce Dancehall ablaze. Shots fired!

Earlier in the day, Becca D – London-based multi-talent and MTV VJ – will work up the temperature. This DJ already supported stars like Gorillaz and Protoji.

DJ Madbwoy, Holland’s most promising DJ, completes the line-up.

Dub Forest: all about that bass, baby
Dennis Bovel is an icon – there, we said it. This producer and musician worked for everyone from Stereo MC’s to Arcade Fire, Joss Stone, Boomtown Rats, Wet Wet Wet and Fela Kuti.

Brittain’s Reggae Maestro is about the go big in our Dub Forest. An exceptional legend in a legendary location: what’s not to like?

On the program too: Youth & Truth, host sound on Friday with their hand-crafted Power Towers of Sound. French Hitman & Fiza complete the line-up with their vintage 90s sound.

Come enjoy the heath on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th of August!
