The Bombist, Bost & Bim’s label present Warrior Brass’, Matthieu Bost‘s first Instrumental 15 track album. This album is mainly a reggae one, exploring various facets of the music with very low roots and deep tracks.
Matthieu Bost is a talented reggae producer worldwide renown in reggae music who got a Grammy Award for his collaboration with MORGAN HERITAGE on the Strictly Roots album, and for the production of “Skanking Sweet” CHRONIXX’ big hit. The other half of the Bost & Bim duo Jérémie Dessus aka Bim, passed away in 2016.
The album is an album filled with jazzy feelings, which honors saxophones, soprano, alto and tenor. It pays tribute to all great Jamaicans great instrumental classic albums.
Mainly composed on Bost & Bim’s riddims, you will hear on it a lot of friends of the duo, but also great guests as Ticklah (Amy Winehouse, Sharon Jones) & Mista Savona (Havana Meets Kingston, DJ Khaled) and some other music styles like nyabinghi & calypso.
