Message In A Bottle – Kumar & Clive Hunt

Kumar delivers a powerful rendition of “Message in a Bottle,” a cover of the mega-hit by British rock band The Police. This version was produced by Clive Hunt, a legendary producer who, over the course of his extensive career, has worked with some of the biggest artists on the planet.

Originally written by The Police’s lead singer and bassist, Gordon Sumner—better known as Sting (who will soon release new music with Shaggy)—this reggae-infused take brings fresh energy to the classic track.

“Message in a Bottle” also features Limey Murray and Clive Hunt on backing vocals. Alongside Kumar, an all-star lineup of stellar Jamaican musicians brings the song to life: Jason Welch (Notice Productions) on bass, Lamont “Monty” Savory on guitar, Kirk “Kirkledove” Bennett on drums, Junior Congo on percussion, and the legendary Robert Lyn on keyboards. Meanwhile, Okiel McIntyre and Oshane Love add a smooth, jazzy touch with their horn arrangements.
