Irene Keity, popularly known as Keity is a Ugandan singer, songwriter, and pianist. Her genres of specialty are RnB, Reggae, Acoustic Soul, and Afro-beat. Keity started her career at a tender age in a church choir before joining YMCA Music School in Wandegeya and later joining the Explosion Band which used to do Blues and Jazz covers. In 2015, Keity released her first single Bayaye with the Home Boys Production in Nairobi, which was later followed by other songs such as Come and Get Your Love, Love Eli Pure, Love Muliro, Nesonyiwa, Mr.Bombastic, Mutooro, Better, Mbasibula, Njera, among others, that were recently followed by her new single Olonze Ani (Why Me). Keity is now signed to Black Market Records and ready to release more music!
