Two-time Grammy-nominated artist Julian “JuJu” Marley is breaking free from convention with his long-awaited album Colors of Royal, a collaboration project with producer Alexx Antaeus (Earth, Wind & Fire, Rolling Stones, Yaksta), out now on all streaming platforms viaMonom Records /Digital Minds.

The 8-track collection, which features production work from Alexx Antaeus, Notnice (Popcaan, Spice, Vybz Kartel), Mr. Sonic (Santana, Ricky Martin, Jon Secada), Sean Alaric (Teyana Taylor, Koffee, Protoje), and LongLivePrince (Waka Flocka Flame, French Montana, Kid Ink), boasts four new songs, as well as the previously released singles “The Tide Is High” and “Roll,” plus brand new remixes of both.

We are proud and humbled to premiere the official video for the hypnotic single “Inna Mood” here today. Directed by Damaniac Visualz, the sultry new video finds Julian performing the song at an intimate gathering on the sands of Wickie Wackie Beach in Bull Bay, Jamaica. As the sun goes down and the bonfire and herbs blaze up, beautiful Caribbean queens move their waists to the track’s intoxicating rhythm while Juju narrates the sexy scene:
She is in the mood, Mek we move
She a move, Me a move
Under me herbs and me vital juice yah

Colors of Royal is an exciting departure from Julian Marley’s previous roots in reggae albums and showcases his versatility as an artist. The album is a testament to the power of collaboration, as Marley and Antaeus have blended their unique styles and influences to create something extraordinary. Reggae and Dancehall have sparked a vibrant musical legacy, influencing genres like Reggaeton and Afrobeats.
“Colors of Royal,” showcases a kaleidoscope of sounds and invites listeners to both think about the state of our world today and, at the same time appreciate and enjoy life.

“This album is all about artistic freedom and exploration,” says Julian Marley. “We wanted to create something that was both true to reggae music and also pushed the envelope, and I think we’ve achieved that with Colors of Royal. It’s a journey through sound and color, and we can’t wait for people to experience it.”
